Breathwork →Chronic stress and burnout are not resolved by a weekend off. Breathwork for stress at our West Hollywood studio uses conscious breathing to reset the nervous system, release held tension, and support the shallow, chest-led breathing that sustained pressure leaves behind. Sessions with Certified Breathwork Facilitators Jaime and Yonatan Elkayam run in our private Melrose loft.

Breathwork is a complementary practice, not a substitute for medical or mental-health care. It supports stress relief by directly engaging the nervous system through breath pattern, a slower exhale, a paced hold, a fuller inhale, rather than trying to think your way out of a stress response. When the breath pattern changes, the body's stress chemistry follows.
LA stress is a specific kind: the commute, industry pressure, an always-on creative economy, and the performing of wellness you are not actually feeling. It stacks in the nervous system over months, not days, and tends to live in the breath itself, shallow, chest-led, and fast. Coffee sharpens it. Cardio burns some of it off. Breathwork works differently, and works alongside whatever else you already do to manage stress.

Changing the pattern of your breath changes the chemistry of your stress response. A skilled practitioner reads your state and adjusts the practice in real time, something a breathing app cannot do.
Stress often sits in the jaw, shoulders, and chest long after the stressful moment has passed. Clients frequently describe the shift as a pressure valve finally releasing.
Some clients feel a meaningful shift after one session. Others build a regular practice, and most find monthly or bi-monthly sessions create an effect that compounds over time.
Jaime and Yonatan work together as a married practitioner team, which makes couples sessions a natural part of what we offer for relationship stress and co-regulation.
You tell us what kind of week it has been. Jaime or Yonatan assesses your baseline and chooses a technique and intensity that fits where you are.
A brief check on your natural breath pattern, where you are holding, how shallow or full, whether your exhale is shorter than your inhale. This shapes the whole session.
Conscious breathing, guided in real time. The technique varies by session. Nothing is forced. You can slow down or stop at any point.
We close with grounding and a few minutes of stillness to let the nervous system consolidate the shift before you leave the building.
By combining a mix of breath, body, mind and energy work all under one roof, in a single session, I am able to take care of myself as a whole being rather than doing maintenance on each of the parts individually.
I felt clearer, lighter, and more positive. It was like a pressure valve had been released.
I always leave lighter and inspired.
