Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of our website, bookings, and services.

1. Legal information

This website and all services are provided by Coopetition LLC DBA Word of Mouth Integrative Wellness, 717 N Highland Ave, Suite 6, Los Angeles, CA 90038, a California Limited Liability Company.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any related platforms. By engaging with our website or services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

2. Services provided

We offer wellness-based services including but not limited to:

  • Coaching
  • Reiki sessions and trainings
  • Sound healing
  • Workshops and courses (online and in person)

All services are offered in accordance with California law. Services are not intended for minors. You must be 18 years of age or older to access or participate in any offerings.

3. Bookings, payments & cancellations

Services are booked via Acuity Scheduling or by contacting us at hello@wordofmouth.love. Payments are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal. We do not store payment information.

Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled session will be charged in full. No-shows also forfeit the session. Subscription services must be canceled at least 48 hours before the next billing cycle.

All sales are final. If you choose to terminate participation, unused sessions are non-refundable. In cases of medical or emergency circumstances, unused sessions may be:

  • Transferred to another person of your choosing as a gift
  • Exchanged for a service of equivalent value, subject to availability

4. Auto-renewal terms

If you subscribe to recurring services, you acknowledge:

  • You are enrolling in an auto-renewing subscription
  • Charges will continue unless you cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date
  • You may cancel at any time by email or via Acuity Scheduling

5. Client responsibilities & participation

We provide services based on mutual respect, trust, and active participation. You understand that:

  • Your outcomes depend on your engagement and participation
  • We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services to any individual who displays inappropriate behavior, non-compliance, or otherwise disrupts the client-provider relationship

6. Account creation (if applicable)

Accounts created via Acuity Scheduling are subject to their terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account credentials secure
  • Not sharing access without permission

7. Virtual services & technical requirements

Our sessions may be conducted via Zoom or telephone. To participate, you must have:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A device capable of running Zoom
  • A quiet, private space free of distractions

Additional participants are not permitted unless approved in writing 24 hours in advance.

8. Session attendance & no-show policy

Clients who fail to attend a scheduled session or cancel within 24 hours will forfeit the session with no refund. Repeated missed appointments may result in suspension of services.

9. Recording & streaming policy

Private and group sessions may be recorded for internal documentation or marketing purposes. Private session recordings will never be shared without your explicit written consent. Group class recordings may be used for promotional or educational purposes. Participation implies consent unless otherwise withdrawn in writing before the session.

10. Intellectual property

All content provided by Word of Mouth Integrative Wellness, including but not limited to courses, guides, videos, written materials, and recorded content, is the exclusive intellectual property of Coopetition LLC. Materials are for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without express written permission is strictly prohibited.

11. Third-party tools & services

We use third-party platforms including Acuity Scheduling, Zoom, Stripe, and PayPal to facilitate services. We are not liable for any issues arising from the use or failure of these platforms. Please review their respective terms and privacy policies before using our services.

12. Data collection & privacy

We collect personal data including name, email, phone number, address, and responses to intake questionnaires. We do not sell or share your data outside necessary operational use.

For full details, see our Privacy Policy, which complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU clients. Your rights under these laws include:

  • The right to access your data
  • The right to request deletion
  • The right to opt out of non-essential data use

13. Email communications

By using our services, you consent to receive:

  • Transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders)
  • Limited promotional emails (event or course announcements)

You may opt out of promotional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly.

14. Health & warranty disclaimers

Our services are complementary wellness services, not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Testimonials reflect individual experiences, and results may vary. You agree to take full responsibility for your own health, wellbeing, and participation.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to:

  • Your use or inability to use our services
  • Any reliance on information provided in sessions

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coopetition LLC, its members, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the services
  • Any violation of these Terms

17. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms shall remain in full effect.

18. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, power outages, pandemics, internet disruptions, or acts of government.

19. Client eligibility

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services to any individual, particularly if:

  • We believe services are not appropriate for their needs
  • There are safety, behavioral, or ethical concerns
  • Service delivery would violate applicable law or internal policies

20. Electronic consent & agreement

By using our website and services, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • Be legally bound by these Terms
  • The use of electronic communications and records as valid and binding
  • That checking a box, clicking "Book," or proceeding with a session constitutes your electronic signature

21. Chargebacks & disputes

Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate suspension of services. We reserve the right to contest any chargebacks with full documentation. Repeat disputes may result in permanent loss of service access.

22. Security breach notification

In the event of a breach involving personal data, you will be notified promptly in accordance with applicable California or international law.

23. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. All disputes shall be resolved by good-faith mediation and, if unresolved, binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

24. Class action waiver

You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action.

25. Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a sale, merger, or reorganization.

26. Notice

27. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes.
