What makes holistic coaching different
Holistic life coaching recognizes the interconnectedness of every area of your life instead of treating them as separate problems to solve one at a time. It addresses the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, on the belief that a change in one area ripples into the others. We see the person in front of us as a complete whole, made up of physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions that all deserve attention, not just the one that happens to be loudest that week.
That integrative approach goes past the surface issue someone walks in with, to the actual root underneath it, which is usually where the more lasting change happens.
Not just fixing problems, but a more aligned life
Holistic coaching is not only about resolving a specific issue or hitting a goal. It is about building toward a more joyful and aligned life, and redefining what "healthy" means so it includes the emotional and spiritual alongside the physical. A coach working this way offers tools and questions that support real self-discovery, helping you navigate whatever life is asking of you right now with a bit more grace.
The masculine and feminine energies within everyone
One thread that often shows up in this work is the balance between what many traditions call the divine feminine, intuition, nurturing, cooperation, and the divine masculine, logic, drive, action. Both exist in everyone, regardless of gender. Learning to notice and balance them tends to support better relationships, steadier work, and a more honest connection to who you actually are underneath the roles you play.
What this looks like at Word of Mouth
In West Hollywood, and remotely for clients elsewhere, our coaching sessions are private and personalized around one person at a time, built to nurture the mind, body, and spirit together rather than in separate appointments. If bridging that gap between what your mind understands and what your body is still holding is what you are after, our coaching weaves breathwork and honest conversation into a single weekly session, so the two never feel disconnected from each other.
An honest note on scope
Holistic coaching is a complement to therapy, not a replacement for it, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. Jaime and Yonatan are certified reiki practitioners and coaches, not licensed therapists. Many clients pair this work with their own therapist and find the two support each other well.
Holistic life coaching is more a journey than a single process, an ongoing practice of self-discovery that asks you to step further into your own life rather than just check a box. Our coaching page walks through what a container with us actually looks like, week to week.
